Throughout Dead Pioneers' set, tensions grew among the crowd. Some fans heckled and voiced disapproval of the band's strong message about stolen indigenous land. Despite the frustration, frontman Gregg Deal remained calm and responded with a firm "I don't care"; drawing a clear line between himself and the crowd.
